Transition to “Euro-4“ since January, 2011 in Moscow will not be

The new ecological standard of fuel in capital comes into force not earlier than summer of next year.

the capital region since January, 1st, 2001 will not transfer to fuel standards « Euro-4 ». The document on toughening of requirements to fuel was not considered yet by the government of Moscow, and its introduction into force declare not less than for half a year. About it to journalists Marina Vakula reported the representative of Department of wildlife management and preservation of the environment of Moscow, writes « the Russian newspaper ». As she said, the document is agreed by a city, but not placed for consideration the government because of disagreement of the several companies. Even if the document will be considered till the end of this year, it comes into force only by next summer.

now a variance in cost of fuel of standards « Euro-3 » and « euro-4 » constitutes 2,64 roubles. As economists predicted earlier, with entering of the new quality standard of fuel its price comes nearer to a mark in 30 roubles for litre.

we remind that transition to the fuel standard « Euro-3 » in Russia has been executed since January, 1st, 2007. It was initially planed that since January, 1st of this year all country transfers to the standard « Euro-4 » however in connection with crisis transition has been put aside.
