IAEA has allocated $24 million for struggle against a cancer

the International agency on atomic energy (IAEA) has allocated $24 million for the projects directed on struggle against cancer diseases in Europe.

As have informed on Friday in sekretate IAEA in Vienna, the Agency has joined the Program on technical cooperation in which the leading oncological CTRs of 27 European countries, and also World Health Organization (CART) and a number of the non-governmental organisations participate.

Experts of IAEA will participate in applied processes of treatment of oncological patients, including W radiotheraphy use.

By data the CART, annually in Europe dies of cancer diseases on the average 1,7 million persons.
