According to the order of the mayor, committee on affairs of migration of the government of Moscow together with a number of other departments it is entrusted to give the report on performance of the program of regulation of migration in Moscow on 2000 - 2001, and also to prepare the reference to the president of the Russian Federation under the decision of problems of regulation of migration in Russia.
Besides, it is recommended to specified departments to confirm the Moscow city program of regulation of migration on 2002 - 2004, which basic directions - the organisation of monitoring of a migratory situation in a city, optimisation of volume and structure of a migratory turn in interests socially - an economic development of the city, and also assistance in granting to migrants of legislatively established social guarantees.
