The president of Austria will consider the offer on simplification of a visa regime with Russia
the President of Austria Heinz Fischer promised to study the offer of the president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on simplification of a visa regime on a bilateral basis while the corresponding agreement is not signed between the Russian Federation and EU as a whole.
On a press - conferences after negotiations the Austrian leader has informed that the visa theme was one of central at a today`s meeting. Fisher has given of Medvedev`s word by which estimation negotiations of the Russian Federation and EU still will occupy certain time. And therefore the Russian leader while has suggested to solve this question on a bilateral basis.

The president of Austria has reminded that now there are negotiations between Russia and EU as a whole on a visa question. He counts that the decision of the given problem will promote at the summit coming in June Russia - EU. “ I Hope, progress will be reached. Austria supports this process “ - Fisher has assured.
Earlier the president of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and the president of Austria Heinz Fischer have signed the Declaration on partnership for modernisation.
In the presence of leaders of two countries who have finished negotiations in the Kremlin, also are signed the Cooperation agreement in the field of a competitive policy between Federal antimonopoly service and the Austrian Federal competitive department, the intergovernmental Agreement about scientifically - technical cooperation and the Program of actions on development Russian - the Austrian cooperation with a view of economy modernisation.
From the Russian side the assistant to the president Sergey Prihodko, the ambassador of Russia in Austria have taken part in negotiations in the expanded structure Sergey Nechaev, Minister of Education and Science Andrey Fursenko, Minister of Energy Sergey Shmatko, the governor of the Samara region, the co-chairman Russian - the Austrian business council Vladimir Artjakov, and also assistants to heads of some federal departments.
