Sales of cars in Europe have grown on 6,3 %

Today, on October, 15th, results of sales of cars in Europe in September, 2009 became known.
sales of cars in Europe have grown in September on 6,3 % in comparison with similar month 2008 after increase on 3 % in August at the expense of programs of stimulation of demand for cars in Germany, France and Great Britain. At the same time for last three quarters volumes of realisation of cars in Europe were reduced to 6,6 %, is told in the message of the European association of manufacturers of cars (ACEA).

In September in Europe 1 388 136 new cars have been registered.

the West European car market last month has made record jump since 1999 - growth of sales has made 9,6 % in comparison with September, 2008. However in absolute expression the market volume remains below level of last 7 years.

the Best results in the Western Europe on - former are shown by Germany with growth of sales of cars on 21 %. After 16 months of strong recession has gone upwards and a car market of Spain (18 %). Positive results were shown also by Austria (17,9 %), France (14 %), Norway (12,7 %), Great Britain (11,4 %), Italy (6,8 %) and Switzerland (2,9 %).

In January - September only three countries of region have fixed increase in sales of cars: Germany - on 26,1 %, Austria - on 6,7 % and France - on 2,4 %.

In new EU member states in September mainly negative tendencies of the last months 2009 have remained: sales in region were reduced as a whole to 36,4 %. Positive growth was shown only by Poland (7,9 %) and Czechia (0,5 %). For 9 months 2009 Slovakia (19,7 %), Czechia (8 %) and Poland (1,7 %) have shown growth.
