Such statement was made by the minister of affairs of a science of Republic Serbia Aleksandar Popovich. According to the minister, the corresponding agreement has been signed at general conference of the International agency on atomic energy (IAEA) which passed last week in Vienna.
According to this agreement, to Russia will be delivered about 8 thousand fulfilled fuel cores from the Institute of nuclear researches which is in Wine near to Belgrad. As the Serbian minister has informed, transaction cost makes 10 million doll, transfers () Associated Press.
the fulfilled fuel cores contain a radioactive material which can potentially be used for manufacture of a nuclear bomb. During recent inspection of IAEA has established that they are stored on the object which does not have due protection.
