Russians have supported the friendship treaty with J.Osetiej and Abkhazia

the Overwhelming majority of Russians (87 %) is approved by signing of the agreement on friendship and mutual aid between Russia and republics South Ossetias and Abkhazia. The above an educational level of respondents, the they concern agreement undertaking about friendship and mutual aid more positively. Respondents support signing of the given document without dependence from the political sympathies. Support to this decision is more rare than the others inhabitants Central (38 %) and Ural (36 %) federal districts, more often - southerners (63 %) express.
As it is informed in materials VTSIOM, 81 % of Russians positively concerns idea of placing of military bases in territory of South Ossetia and Abkhazia (from them of 42 % - certainly approve, 39 % - approve this decision more likely). Only 1 of 10 respondents (10 % interrogated) tend to negative estimations of such decision (7 % - more likely negatively, 3 % - certainly negatively concern it).
More than half of respondents (55 %) consider that Russia should render the economic help of South Ossetia and Abkhazia, but notice that it should be especially a provisional measure directed on restoration of republics. Almost every fourth Russian is assured that Russia should render constant material support to republics (24 %). 14 More % tend to opinion what to finance these territories it is not necessary, as they are not a part of Russia.
