Greece expects to prolong the program of reduction of budgetary deficiency
the Minister of Finance of Greece Jannis Sturnaras has declared that the program of reduction of budgetary deficiency should be prolonged.
the Government of Greece intends to carry out the plan for four years, instead of for two as provides the agreement with creditors from EU and IMF. Earlier Greece was obliged to accept additional reductions on 11,5 billion euro to compensate a deviation of the budgetary program from the planned purposes, however it was prevented by the period of political instability, transfers RIA Novosti news agency.
According to Sturnarasa, by the end of performance of the program primary expenses of the budget of the country should decrease approximately on 30 billion euro in relation to level of 2009 that will allow to balance the budget. The minister also promised to stimulate investments into national economy and the privatisation program.
Representatives of IMF repeatedly specified that do not plan to allocate Greece additional means. Greece since May, 2010 it has been allocated credits and it is written off a debt in total approximately on 380 billion euro, but from - for record recession of economy it has not improved a country economic situation.
