That the USA already test in Pacific ocean
At the moment have developed elements of experimental system of the ABM on an atoll Kwajalein (Marshall Islands) in jugo - the western part of Pacific ocean. They include a starting complex with two mine launchers for PLV carrier rockets with companions - interceptors EKV, and also technical complexes for preparation for start-up of these rockets and companions. Besides, in the same place are constructed radar station (RLS) for tracking process of interception and control centre of interception. In this centre the information from all American companions of the prevention of a rocket attack - DPS (in a geostationary orbit), SBIRS (on vysokoellipticheskih orbits) and SMTS (in low orbits) is flown down.
By 2003 it is planned eight more, and by 2005 - 16 complex tests similar to last. Simultaneously by 2005 it is planned to construct the basic RLS systems on island Shemija (Aleutian islands) and to develop the first 20 satellite complexes of interception on Alaska, and by 2007 to finish their number to 100. Cost of realisation of the first stage of the project providing expansion in total of 100 interceptor missiles on Alaska, will make, according to the Pentagon, $14 billion Full-scale expansion of system of the national ABM in territory of the USA will manage in $60 billion
